Indians 9, Tigers 4 – The Cleveland Indians completed their second three-game sweep against the Tigers on Thursday night.

LSJ Logo incertThe Indians jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first inning, the Tigers responded with three runs in the fourth before Cleveland responded with five unanswered runs.

The Indians were led by Mike Napoli with a three-run homer, while Michael Brantley added a double and three RBIs and Rajai Davis chipped in with two RBIs.

Nick Castellanos remained hot, hitting a three-run home run while Jarrod Saltalamacchia had an RBI.

The Tigers are now 14-13 on the season, good for a three-way tie for second place in the American League Central Division behind the Chicago White Sox.

Detroit will look to bounce back at home against the Texas Rangers on Friday night.
