The Fremont baseball team swept Orchard View in a Lakes 8 Conference doubleheader, 13-1 and 6-5, on Friday.
In Game 1, the Packers scored in every inning except for the seventh.
Fremont was led by Conner Cook with two hits and three RBIs while Calvin Miller added two hits and scored two runs.
Nathan Hoffman chipped in with one hit, two runs scored, and two RBIs for the Packers while Brandon Clark had three RBIs and picked up the win on the mound.
In Game 2, Fremont was paced by Tim MacKay with three runs scored while Hoffman scored two runs and knocked in a run.
The Cardinals were led in a losing effort by Luis Suarez with two RBIs while Alex Anderson added two doubles.
OV’s Suarez pitched seven innings striking out 10 batters.
