Fruitport’s varsity baseball squad flexed their muscles in a 14-0 victory over Lakes Eight Conference foe Orchard View on Friday. 
The contest ended in five innings due to the mercy rule.
Zac Miller picked up the win on the mound, as he allowed just two hits and struck out four in five innings.
Parker Tawney led the Trojans with three hits, while Casey Gagnon, Matt Sander, Brendan Peterman and Connor Schuitema tallied two hits each.
The rivals couldn’t complete Game 2 because of rain. It was called early with the contest tied at 5-5.
