The Hesperia softball squad won both games of a doubleheader over WMCC, 7-5 and 9-2, on Monday.

LSJ Logo incertIn Game 1, the Panthers were led by Alyssa Miller with two hits and an RBI while Hallie Greiner added two hits.

Hesperia’s Alexa Klemundt pitched the win, allowing three earned runs on six hits while striking out six batters in seven innings.

WWCC was paced by Janae Schultz with two hits and an RBI.

In Game 2, Ellie Palmer paced Hesperia with three hits, five RBIs and two runs scored while Mariah Stitt chipped in with two hits and an RBI.

Palmer picked up the victory for the Panthers, allowing two runs on six hits while striking out three batters in seven innings.

WMCC’s Catherine Bradford had two hits and an RBI in a losing effort.
