The Montague girls soccer team defeated Shelby 2-1 in a West Michigan Conference game on Tuesday.
The Wildcats were paced by Kirsten Kelly’s winning goal and a goal Paige Swanson who scored on a head ball.
Shelby’s Amy England scored its lone gone.
Montague outshot the Tigers by a 10-8 margin.
Correction: Paige Swanson made the first goal with a header into the net and Kirsten Kelly had the winning goal.
