The Mona Shores baseball squad clinched a share of the O-K Black Conference title with a doubleheader sweep over Grand Rapids Union on Tuesday.

The Sailors and Zeeland East are tied atop the standings.

In Game 1, Alec McNarland scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch in the seventh inning.

The Sailors were led by Hunter Broersma with three hits and an RBI, while Elijah Wilson added two hits and an RBI.

Mona Shores’ pitcher Austin Flowers picked up the complete game victory.

In Game 2, the Sailors were paced by Collin Vaughan and Caden Anderson with three hits apiece.

Tyler Trovinger pitched the win for Mona Shores, tossing five scoreless innings while striking out seven batters.
