The Mona Shores softball team earned a split on Saturday in its doubleheader with East Kentwood.
After losing the opener 10-0, the Sailor offense came alive in an 8-3 victory in the nightcap.
Mackenzie Lund led the Sailor offense with three hits and three RBIs on the day while Mackenzie Willeke added three hits and two RBIs of her own.
Sami Sanborn and Grace Hall each had two hits for the Sailors while Taylor Dew had a solo home run and an RBI double.
Mona Shores is now 7-6 on the season overall.
