The Mona Shores softball team dropped a pair of close games Saturday at the Hudsonville Milan Miracle Tournament.
The Sailors fell to Grand Rapids South Christian 8-5. Mackenzie Willeke and Sami Sanborn each had two hits while Megan Crane belted a two-run homer for the Sailors.
In the second game Mona Shores lost to Wyoming 1-0. Senior pitcher Desi Parker took the loss despite only giving up four hits and one unearned run. Veronica Kastelic led the offense with two hits.
The Sailors are now 17-13 on the season.
