The Muskegon Catholic Central baseball team split two games at Fifth Third Ballpark on Thursday night.
The Crusaders defeated Powers Central 8-7 in the opening game, before falling 4-3 in a shortened game to Grand Rapids West Catholic.
In Game 1, the Crusaders scored two runs in the last inning to defeat Powers Central.
Mason Convertini drove in the game-winning run while Jacob Holt added three hits, including a double and triple.
MCC’s Bobby Ahern and Cole Charlesworth each chipped in with two hits.
In Game 2, the Crusaders fell behind 3-0 early and were unable to comeback from their early deficit.
Norberto Vasquez allowed one hit while pitching 4 and 2/3 innings in relief for Muskegon Catholic.
