The Spring Lake baseball team cruised past Ludington, 9-3 and 14-4, in a doubleheader sweep in Lakes 8 action on Friday.
The Lakers are now 13
-13 overall and 11-9 in conference play.
In Game 1, Spring Lake was led offensively by Trenton Dove with two hits, two runs and an RBI while Rylan Peets added two hits and two RBIs. Tyler Murak chipped in with two hits, one run scored and an RBI.
Kyle Peets pitched the win in Game 1 for the Lakers tossing a complete game, allowing three unearned runs on two hits while striking out four batters.
In Game 2, the Lakers were paced by Kyle Peets with two hits and two runs scored while Murak added two hits, two runs scored, and three RBIs.
Spring Lake’s Damontay Tyson chipped in with a hit, one run scored and three RBIs while TJ Cunningham had two hits and three runs scored.
