The Spring Lake baseball team swept Orchard View on Friday in Lakes 8 Conference action, winning 15-5 and 14-4.
Kyle Peets picked up the win for Spring Lake in Game 1, striking out seven batters in six innings.
The Lakers were paced in Game 1 by Jacob Gray with three hits, three RBIs and two runs scored while Gray Christensen added three hits, three RBIs and four runs scored.
Other leading hitters for the Lakers were Brendan Bectel with two hits and two RBIs and Trenton Dove with two hits and one run scored.
In the nightcap, Gray picked up the win on the mound, pitching five innings and striking out four Cardinals.
Dove paced the offense with three hits, three runs scored and three RBIs. TJ Cunningham added three hits, two runs and two RBIs.
Jeremiah Bosse added two hits and three RBIs for the Lakers, while Bectel rounded out the Laker offense with a home run.
Spring Lake is now 10-7 overall and 8-4 in Lakes 8 Conference play.
