The Whitehall baseball team swept Ravenna, 7-1 and 4-1, in a West Michigan Conference doubleheader on Wednesday.

In Game 1, the Vikings were led by Tyler Carnes, Nolan Throne and Tom Blaskovitz with two hits apiece.

Casey Huizenga pitched the victory for Whitehall, allowing one run on six hits while striking out 10 batters.

The Bulldogs were led by Nolan Liszewski with two hits.

In Game 2, the Vikings were paced by Huizenga with three hits while Daniel Dubois added two hits.

Whitehall’s Ben VanSumeren picked up the win, allowing one run on four hits while striking out three batters.

Ravenna was led by Brendan Redding with two hits.
