The Western Michigan Christian baseball squad swept Hesperia in a doubleheader, 8-3 and 8-7, on Monday.
In Game 1, the Warriors were led by Cam Waller with a home run and four RBIs while Cameron Brott scored three runs and had two RBIs.
Brott pitched the win for WMC, striking out five batters in seven innings.
In Game 2, the Warriors were paced by Waller with two doubles and three RBIs while Sam Goorman knocked in two runs. Andrew Hill scored the game-winning run in the bottom of the seventh.
WMC’s Jared Varnado picked up the victory, striking out two batters in two innings of relief.
