The WMCC and Fremont softball teams split a doubleheader on Tuesday.
WMCC took the opening game 9-7, and the Packers responded with a 13-11 victory in the nightcap.
In Game 1, WMCC’s Caroline Price led the offense with two hits and three RBIs while Haylee Moser added four hits and three RBIs.
Price pitched WMCC to the win in Game 1.
The Packers were led in a losing effort by Becca Thompson and Lilly Williams with three hits apiece.
In Game 2, the Packers were paced by Bree Hesselink with two hits and four RBIs while Ana Patenge added two hits and two RBIs.
Price led WMCC with four hits and seven RBIs while Moser chipped in with three hits and two RBIs.
