Tigers 3, Blue Jays 2 (10 inn) – Ian Kinsler’s walk-off single paced the Tigers over the Toronto Blue Jays on Tuesday night.

LSJ Logo incertKinsler paced Detroit with a double and two RBIs while Miguel Cabrera added a double and an RBI.

Justin Upton chipped in with a double for the Tigers.

Detroit is now currently in the middle of a five-game winning streak.

The Blue Jays jumped out to a 2-0 lead with one run in the fifth and seventh inning.

Detroit’s starting pitcher Matt Boyd picked up a no-decision, allowing a run on three hits while walking and striking out five batters in 5 1/3 innings.

Tigers’ relief pitcher Justin Wilson picked up the win, tossing a clean top of the 10th inning.

The Blue Jays were led by Kevin Pillar with a solo homer while Jose Bautista chipped in with an RBI.

The Tigers are now 30-28 on the season, good for a second place tie in the American League Central Division behind the first-place Cleveland Indians.

Detroit will look to pick up its second straight three-game series sweep with a win over the Blue Jays on Wednesday afternoon.
