Grand Haven only managed three hits in the game and only advanced two runners as far as second base.

The Bucs, who finished second in the O-K Red Conference this season, closed with a 29-8 record.

“The girls worked hard this week with long practices in the heat,” said Grand Haven Coach Paul Masko. “We would have liked for it to end differently but it didn’t turn out that way. We broke the school record for wins for the second year in a row, so kudos to the girls for their desire to win.”
