Three area high school golfers will be competing in state final tournaments in their respective classes this weekend, after qualifying last week in regional competition.
In Division 1, Mona Shores’ Graham Lillibridge finished third in the regional at Cedar Chase Golf Course in Cedar Springs last week with a score of 75. Lillibridge will now play in the state finals at the Meadows Golf Course at Grand Valley State University this weekend.
In Division 2, Ludington’s Ethan Leavitt shot a 76 and finished fourth in regional action at Pohlcat in Mount Pleasant last week. Leavitt will compete in the state finals at Bedford Valley in Battle Creek.
In Division 3, Keaton Inglis of Shelby finished fourth in the regional at Lakeside Links in Scottville with a 79 last week, and will compete at Forest Akers on the Michigan State University campus in the state finals this weekend.
