Tigers 7, Rangers 0 – Michael Fulmer pitched his first career complete-game shutout as the Tigers defeated the Texas Rangers on Sunday. for their second straight shutout victory.

LSJ Logo incertFulmer, who tossed the Tigers second straight shutout, allowed four hits while striking out nine batters to pick up his 10th win of the season.

Ian Kinsler, J.D. Martinez, Victor Martinez and Miguel Cabrera each homered for the Tigers, who had 13 total hits in the contest.

Detroit scored two runs in the fourth, one in the sixth, three in the seventh and one in the ninth inning.

The Tigers are now 63-54 on the season, good for second place in the American League Central Division behind the first-place Cleveland Indians. They are a game and a half back of the Boston Red Sox for the final playoff spot.

Detroit will return home looking to continue its winning streak starting on Monday night against the Kansas City Royals.
