It all gets started on Thursday night. LocalSportsJournal.com will have reporters and photographers at three area contests – Grand Haven at Reeths-Puffer, Oakridge at Muskegon Catholic and West Ottawa at Mona Shores.

We will also have thorough recaps of Thursday’s other exciting games – Montabella at Hesperia, Lake Michigan Catholic at Holton, Muskegon Heights at Baldwin and NorthPointe Christian at Spring Lake.

On Friday LSJ will be on hand to cover the return of Hart varsity football after a year off. The Pirates will visit Ludington in a non-conference game, and we dare say lots of Hart fans will make that drive to see their team in action again.

LocalSportsJournal.com will also have recaps from Friday’s other matchups – Sparta at Fremont, Ravenna at Kent City, Shelby at Grant, North Muskegon at Reed City and Whitehall at Kelloggsville.

The biggest game of the weekend will be Saturday at the Big House in Ann Arbor, when the Muskegon Big Reds, the winningest team in Michigan high school football history, will face Ann Arbor Pioneer, the second team on the all-time win list.

We will also cover two big Saturday games at Grand Valley State University – Montague vs. Orchard View and Fruitport vs. Coopersville.
