Montague takes second place in a 20-team cross country event over the weekend

The Montague cross country team competed in an invitational on Saturday.

The boys squad took second-place in the 20 team event, while the girls team did not dress a full squad due to other events in the area.

Joe Dandron led the Wildcats with a 10^th place finish with a time of 17:33 while Cole Jenson ended in 13^th place with a 17:36 time.

Montague’s Matthew Lipka, Mike McKeown and Christian Lipka each finished in the top 30 out of 221 runners.

Alex Nuttal led the girls team with a 30 place finish with a time of 22:55.
