The Oakridge soccer team defeated Hart 3-2 in West Michigan Conference action on Tuesday after holding off a late rally. 
The Eagles led 2-0 at the halftime, on goals by Mads Christensen and Cruz Rodriguez, and added an early second half goal by Rodriguez to take a 3-0 advantage.
Christensen and Bayly Ehnan had assists for Oakridge.
The Pirates made the game close in the second half when Austin Vanderlaan found the back of the net twice in a span of five minutes.
Hart’s Garrett Eisenlohr and Abel Mendoza assisted on the Vanderlaan goals.
