Pigeon Hill Alliance, GBQBBQ Barbecue and Catering and Clock Funeral Home have joined together to give the athletic program a new fundraising boost.

Clock Funeral Home has donated its parking lot. Pigeon Hill is kicking in $500 each week for a specific sports program and GBQBBQ will be providing the food.

The cost to park is $5 and a pig roast plater is $10 with all the proceeds going to the Muskegon Big Reds athletic teams. Each week will be sponsored by a different sport, and today’s proceeds will go to the bowling program.

The tailgate dinner will include Mediterranean coleslaw, smoked baked beans, cornbread, pork roast and four different kinds of BBQ sauce all cooked by Muskegon bowling coach Greg Roberts who runs GBQBBQ Barbecue and Catering.

Stop out at 3 p.m. in the Clock Funeral Home parking lot before the Big Reds’ 4:30 p.m. kickoff against Stevenson and get the new taste of the Big Red Cafe to help support the Big Reds athletic program.
