The Spring Lake soccer team claimed a tight 2-1 victory over Reeths-Puffer in a non-league matchup on Thursday night.
Brad Debien and Ryan Zietlow scored for the Lakers while goalie Justin Pederson made a key save late in the contest to preserve the victory for Spring Lake.
Brendan Sherwood scored for Reeths-Puffer, with an assist from Tyler DeLong. Jake Lofgren recorded eight saves in goal for the Rockets.
Spring Lake had a 10-3 advantage in shots.
