The Western Michigan Christian boys soccer team won its first ever Lakes 8 Conference game 7-1 over Manistee on Tuesday night.

LSJ Logo incertThe Warriors jumped out to a 6-0 halftime lead, then opened the second half scoring with a goal to take a 7-0 advantage.

Manistee closed out the scoring in the 49th minute of the contest.

The Warriors were led by Evan Fles with three goals and an assist while Dylan Mines chipped in with two goals and one assist.

Tyler Van Beek added a goal and an assist for WMC and Tommy Tencate had two assists.

WMC is off to a 7-1 start on the season and is 1-0 in league play.
