The Fruitport volleyball team won two of its four matches at its host invitational of Saturday.
The Trojans fell to Mona Shores 2-0 in the quarterfinal round after posting a 2-1 record in pool play, defeating Whitehall and Grant 2-0 and losing to Gull Lake 2-1.
Fruitport was led by Katie Veihl with seven aces, 18 kills and 22 digs.
Kelsey Schultz added four aces and led defensively with 39 digs for the Trojans while Jordyn Carlyle and Kylie Oberlin each had 16 kills. Kailey Carmean chipped in with 71 assists and Ally German added five blocks.
