The Grand Haven football team’s strong second half led to a 42-23 victory over West Ottawa Friday in an O-K Red Conference game.
The Bucs trailed 23-21 at halftime before scoring the final 21 points in the contest.
Grand Haven did its damage on the ground, rushing for over 300 yards as a team.
Joey Zelenka led the Bucs with 136 yards rushing, one receiving touchdown and an interception.
Grand Haven wide receiver Brady Jonas caught one touchdown pass and threw for a score on a fake field goal attempt.
The Bucs are now 2-2 on the season, including 1-1 in the OK-Red Conference.
