The Spring Lake volleyball team fell to Grand Rapids Catholic Central in five sets on Thursday in an O-K Blue Conference match.
The Lakers lost the first set by a 25-10 score, won the next two 25-23 and 25-22, then fell in the final two frames by service scores of 25-16 and 15-8.
Olivia Grimmer paced Spring Lake with 15 kills while Isabel Donnelly added 12 kills. Caitie Estep chipped in with 34 assists and Carly Bench had 26 digs defensively.
The Lakers are now 8-13 on the season and 3-4 in league play.
