Two first-half goals proved to be enough for the Hart soccer team, which defeated Manistee 2-1 on Thursday.
Hart’s John Guadarrama opened the scoring with an assist from Fher Mendez. Logan Wells added a header later in the first half, which also assisted by Mendez.
Manistee scored on a penalty kick late to make things interesting, but couldn’t complete the comeback. Hart outshot Manistee 11-2.
