The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team rallied for a five set victory over Saugatuck in non-league play on Thursday night.
The Warriors lost their first two sets 10-25 and 18-25 and were trailing 24-19 in the third set and on the brink of losing the match.
WMC came storming back, outscoring Saugatuck 8-1 to close the third set with a 27-25 win before winning the final two sets by service scores of 25-16 and 15-11.
Ashley Sandin led the Warriors with four aces, 41 assists, and 21 digs while Jesse Eekhoff added three aces, six kills, and two blocks.
Cassie Kingma also had one ace, and 18 kills for Western Michigan Christian.
