The Western Michigan Christian volleyball team defeated Muskegon Catholic 3-2 in Lakes 8 action on Tuesday night.
Both teams exchanged 25-22 wins in the first two sets, the Warriors won the third set 25-21, then MCC won the fourth set 26-25 to set up a fifth and final set.
The Warriors won the fifth set 15-10 to win the match and improve to 13-14-1 on the season and 2-1 in league play.
Cassie Kingma led WMC with 17 kills and 15 digs while Haylee Moser added 18 digs. Ashley Sandin chipped in with seven aces and 52 assists.
Muskegon Catholic was led by Zoie Price with 15 kills, eight digs and four aces. Lauren Doriot added 12 kills and five blocks while Amelia Heminger had 37 assists.
