The Fruitport Trojans had a rough night in Jenison on Friday, falling 20-0 to the host Wildcats in O-K Black Conference football action.lsj-fb-logo

Jenison scored on its opening drive on a five-yard touchdown run by Sport Clips 2016 football adBlake Snyder to go up 6-0. The Wildcats added a touchdown in the second quarter with an eight-yard touchdown pass from Kyle Nott to Mitch Doxey and led 13-0 at halftime.

Jenison finished off the scoring with 8:48 left in the fourth quarter with a 59-yard touchdown pass from Nott to Dylan Taylor.

The Trojans, now 2-5 overall and 1-3 in the conference, put together several drives into Jenison territory in the third quarter but failed to score.

Fruitport’s Levi Six finished the night with 20 rushes for 74 yards, while Bailey Lynn added nine rushes for 60 yards.
