Lakeview won by scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-20, 27-29, 15-2.

Hesperia had a balanced attack at the net with Delaney Hussey, Ally Bayle and Alyssa Miller each finishing with 11 kills.

Miller added 15 digs, while Gabby Fredrickson contributed 14. In serving, Ceara Thomas had five aces, while Miller added two.

Thomas also finished with 30 assists from her setter position.

Hesperia will look to bounce back at their home tournament on Saturday, the Lori Vargas Volley Against Violence Tournament. The event raises awareness against domestic and dating violence. White Cloud, Newaygo, Pentwater, Big Rapids Crossroads and Pine River will also compete at the tournament.
