The Montague football team ended its regular season with a 75-7 blowout win over Fremont in a non-league game on Friday night.

Bryce Stark led the way for the Wildcats with seven carries for 207 yards and four touchdowns.

Stark opened the scoring early in the first quarter with 41-yard touchdown run.

Fremont responded with a 48-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Kaleb Kooman to Riley Krim to tie the game 7-7.

The Wildcats then scored 68 unanswered points.

Montague quarterback Dylan Stever and Stark each had three-yard touchdown runs late in the first quarter to put the Wildcats up 19-7.

Stever added two touchdown passes to Jake Jancik during the second quarter, while Stark and Eddie Caviedes chipped in with a rushing touchdowns from 69 and 31 yards out, respectively.

Montague led 47-7 at halftime.

Stark added another rushing touchdown early in the third quarter,  then Sebastian Archer closed out the scoring with three touchdown runs from eight, 15 and 69 yards out.

Stever finished the night 10-for-19 passing for 122 yards and six carries for 60 yards. Jancik had a total of five receptions for 76 yards.

Montague’s defense was led by Zach Vannett with 11 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery.

Fremont ends the 2016 season at 0-9.
