The Cardinals stormed back with two goals from McMiller and Fabian Juarez each to erase the three goal deficit and take a one goal lead.
Orchard View tied the game 4-4 on a Juarez goal with 38 seconds remaining in regulation before McMiller avoided overtime, scoring the game-winning goal with two seconds left.
The Cardinals outshot Manistee by a slim 9-8 margin.
