The Kent City volleyball team ended its season on Thursday night in the Class C regional semifinals 
against Laingsburg at Grand Rapids NorthPointe Christian.
The Eagles, who finished their season with a 43-6-1 record, lost their match in three straight sets.
Kassidy Heeringa paced Kent City with 10 kills, 10 assists and two blocks while Blaire Mortensen chipped in with 10 assists. Kelsey Krueger and Meghan Boyd each added four kills for the Eagles.
