The Muskegon Catholic girls basketball team opened its season with a 58-39 victory over North Muskegon on Tuesday night in non-conference action.
The Crusaders jumped out to a 21-12 lead at the first quarter break and never surrendered the advantage.
Zoey Price led Muskegon Catholic with 16 points and eight rebounds while Talia Tyler added 13 points and five assists. Lauren Doriot chipped in with 15 rebounds for the Crusaders.
The Norsemen were led by Maya Duncan with 27 points.
