The Ravenna volleyball team defeated Western Michigan Christian in three straight sets in a Class C district semifinal match at Kent City on Wednesday night.

Amber Jacobs led the Bulldogs with 25 digs, 16 kills and one ace, while Madison Mundinger had 17 digs, 4 kills and two aces. Megan Crowley chipped in with 24 assists for Ravenna.

Western Michigan Christian was led by Cassie Kingma with 13 kills and 23 digs while Haylee Moser contributed defensively with 23 digs.

Ashley Sandin chipped in with 31 assists for the Warriors.

Ravenna will face district host Kent City at 7 p.m. on Friday night for a Class C district title.
