The Kent City girls’ basketball team came from behind to post a 48-30 victory over Grant on Tuesday in CSAA conference action.

Grant led 11-9 after one quarter, but Kent City fought back with a 19-point third quarter to take a 41-22 lead going into the fourth.

The Eagles were led by Paige Mortensen with 19 points while the Tigers were paced by Kylie Patton with 12.

GRAND HAVEN 45, FOREST HILLS CENTRAL 24 – A strong first half led the Buccaneers to victory. Grand Haven led 10-2 after the first quarter and 23-9 at halftime. Alli Keyser led the way for the Bucs with 14 points, six steals and three assists while Esther Byington added 13 points.

NORTHPOINTE CHRISTIAN 41, MUSKEGON CATHOLIC 28 – The Crusaders saw a three-point halftime lead get away when they were outscored 15-5 in the fourth quarter in non-conference action. Talia Tyler paced MCC with 17 points and eight steals.

FRUITPORT CALVARY CHRISTIAN 64, HOLLAND CALVARY 29 – The Eagles soared to a 42-18 halftime lead in Holland and never wavered in a 35-point win. Calvary Christian was led in scoring by Allyson Richards (20 points), Kelsey Richards (16) and Lexy Wilson (10). Emma Jo Witteveen led the Crusaders with 10 points.
