Grant wrestling team overcomes slow start, posts wins over Ravenna, Montague

The Grant wrestling team got off to a bad start on Wednesday, but by the end of the evening the Tigers had two opening-night wins.

Grant lost three of its first four matches of the night, but went on to win 20 of its next 23. The result was a pair of dual meet victories over Ravenna (49-27) and Montague (72-6).

Posting 2-0 records on the night for the Tigers were Morgan Roesly (103), Cameron Roesly (135) Brandon Sanders (145), Kalub Bonter (152), Danny Atwood (171), Benny Gonzales (189), Rylee Schultz (215) and Gabe Castro (heavyweight).
