Mason County Central comes from behind to beat North Muskegon in girls hoops

The Mason County Central girls basketball team rallied from a nine-point first quarter deficit to defeat North Muskegon 50-46 in a tight West Michigan Conference matchup on Thursday.

The Norse led 17-8 after one quarter, 24-16 at halftime and 37-28 at the third buzzer. The Spartans stole the win by going on a 22-9 run in the final quarter.

Maddy Bladzik led Mason County Central with 12 points while Rachel Allen added 10.

Mya Duncan had a strong night for North Muskegon with 15 points, six rebounds and four assists.
