The Spring Lake boys basketball squad defeated Rockford in comeback fashion, 56-46, on Tuesday night in a non-league contest.

The Lakers, who are now 3-0 on the season, closed out the game with a 22-6 fourth quarter run to erase a 40-34 deficit. The Rams led by as many as 11 points in the third quarter.

Cameron Ball paced Spring Lake with 18 points while Jack Van Wingen added 13.

The Lakers will host Grand Haven on Friday night in the annual Drawbridge Classic.
