The Western Michigan Christian girls basketball team saw an early lead evaporate and ended up losing a 47-31 decision to Manistee on Monday in Lakes 8 Conference action.

The Warriors jumped out to a 15-6 advantage, but only led by one at halftime. Manistee outscored WMC by 11 points in the third quarter to take control of the game.

Katelyn Wright had a team-high 14 points for WMC, including four 3-pointers. Aubrey Goorman tallied eight points, 10 rebounds and five blocks, while Cassie Kingma recorded seven rebounds and four assists.
