The Muskegon boys basketball team remained unbeaten on Friday after a 58-43 victory over Kenowa Hills in an O-K Black Conference matchup.

The Big Reds are now 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the league.

Sam Cornett and Markell Jackson led the way for the Big Reds. Cornett poured in 21 points while Jackson posted a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Muskegon trailed 7-4 after one quarter of play, then outscored the Knights by 10 in the second quarter to take a 21-14 halftime lead.

Kenowa Hills rallied and cut its deficit to two points by the end of the third quarter, but the Big Reds sealed the game in the fourth with a 25-12 advantage.

Muskegon had 23 steals.
