Calvin Hackert’s game-winning three-point shot in overtime propelled the Ludington boys basketball squad to a non-league win over Traverse City West 59-56 on Tuesday night.

Traverse City West forced overtime with a game-typing three-point basket from Jacob Ferwins.

Hackert led the Orioles with 21 points, while Jared Collins added 10 and Sam LaDuke chipped in with nine.

MONA SHORES 59 WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 45 – Jarvis Walker had a breakout game with 24 points to lead the Sailors (4-7) to a 14-point win in non-league action. The Sailors led 32-28 at half before outscoring WMC by a 17-4 margin in the third to pull away for good.

COMSTOCK PARK 75, FRUITPORT 34 – Cameron O’leen led the Trojans (0-12, 0-4) with 10 points on Tuesday night in non-league action. Fruitport trailed 27-6 after the first quarter and 48-19 at halftime. Aric Stewart added 8 points for Fruitport.
