Montague wrestling squad falls to Shelby and Hesperia in a quad match

The Montague wrestling team fell to Shelby 63-15 and Hesperia 60-19 on Wednesday night in its home quad.

Picking up wins for the Wildcats on Wednesday night were Jordan Aguliara (145), Sam Welch (160), Alex Degen (285), Matthew Lipka (135), Brendan Kahl (171), while Logan Huls (215) won both of his matches.

The Tigers who won their matches against Montague were Zachary Parker (285), Will Kidder (103), Mason Johnson (112), Alvaro Avileze (119), Chris Beyer (125), Christian Cooper (130), Nick Felt (135), Kameron Bronkema (140), Jon Hughey (152), Sam Welch (160), Carlos Avilez (171), and Parker Sawyer (189).

Hesperia’s wrestlers who won their match against the Wildcats were Joey Sipple (103), Connor Baird (112), Logan Pearson (119), Collin Nielsen (125), Owen Kowalski (130), Zach Young (140), Trentyn Gleason (145), Jeremiah Hasty (152), Gerrit Yates (160), and Roy Bolan (189).
