In a game where points were hard to come by, host Ravenna found just enough offense in the second half to squeak past Shelby in a West Michigan Conference contest on Thursday, 43-40.

The Tigers had a 26-22 lead at the half, but the Bulldogs outscored Shelby 13-7 in the third and held on for the narrow victory by executing in the clutch.  

Anthony Arbogast led Ravenna with 12 points, while Austin Adams contributed nine points and four rebounds. Ryan Osmer added seven points, two rebounds and two assists.

Forward Spencer Brown had 10 points and 13 rebounds for the Tigers, and Jake Lankfer had five points, four assists and four steals.
