The Shelby girls basketball squad cruised to a 60-41 win over Whitehall in a West Michigan Conference game on Tuesday night.

Jenny Beckman led the Tigers with 20 points while Jaren Smith added 13.

Shelby, which is 10-3 on the season and 7-1 in league play,  led 17-4 after the first quarter, 34-19 at halftime and 48-31 after three quarters.

The Vikings (3-8, 2-5) was led by Kacy Jeffries with 12 points while Sierra Spann added nine points and 10 rebounds.

OAKRIDGE 58, HART 22 – Hannah Reinhold paced the Eagles (11-2, 9-0) with 17 points while Sophia Wiard added 15. Aaliyah Cooper chipped in with 11 points and nine rebounds for Oakridge. The Eagles jumped out to a 17-8 lead after the first quarter, led 28-12 at halftime and had a 42-18 advantage heading into the fourth quarter. The Pirates were led by Aubrey Hertzler with six points.

MONTAGUE 55, RAVENNA 30 – Claudia Rumsey paced the Wildcats (6-4, 5-2) with 19 points while teammate Sydney Stine added 13. Montague jumped out to a 16-11 lead after the first quarter and led 37-12 at halftime after going on a 21-1 second quarter run. Ravenna (1-10, 0-7) was led by Jessica McWatters with 12 points.
