The Spring Lake boys basketball team cruised past Allendale 65-47 on Tuesday night in an O-K Blue Conference game.

The Lakers, who improved to 12-5 on the season and 5-2 in league play, jumped out to a 28-16 halftime lead and never let up throughout the rest of the game.

Cameron Ball paced Spring Lake with 16 points, while Jack Van Wingen added 13 and Craig Whittaker finished with 10.

LUDINGTON 65, ORCHARD VIEW 44 – The Orioles jumped out to a 28-13 lead at halftime. Sam LaDuke paced Ludington with 14 points, while Noah Laman added 12 and Josiah Bandstra chipped in with 11. The Cardinals were led by Edwin Mitchell with a game-high 27 points.

FREMONT 59, CENTRAL MONTCALM 39 – The Packers (11-5, 8-3) broke the game open in the second quarter taking a 17-point lead into halftime. Riley Krim and Logan Karnemaat finished the night scoring 12 points each, while Sam Kaastra recorded a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore Wyatt Kaastra added nine points in his first varsity start of his career.
