With a dominating performance on Tuesday night, Fruitport Calvary Christian (17-1, 8-0) clinched its fifth-straight outright Alliance Conference Championship. The Eagles breezed past Zion Christian, 66-23. 

Kelsey Richards led Calvary with 22 points and five assists, while Lexy Wilson added 18 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists.

Allyson Richards rounded out the double digit scorers with 13 points and six steals.

The Eagles will look to roll into the postseason tournament with a pair of contests against larger schools looming next week — Orchard View and Montague.

CENTRAL MONTCALM 35 FREMONT 32 — Fremont was hurt by late turnovers as Central Montcalm pulled out a 35-32 win when Libby Ledford hit an NBA-range three-pointer as time expired Tuesday night. Fremont was nursing a 17-9 halftime lead before being outscored 18-8 in the final frame. Fremont was led by Bre Harris with 12 and Natalie Jamieson with 11. Fremont is now 9-7 overall with the loss.

GRANT 48, CHIPPEWA HILLS 38Ashley Herin had 10 points to lead the Tigers to victory in a Central State Activities Association Gold Division matchup on Tuesday night. Grant (7-10, 5-6) led 20-15 at the half and held off a third quarter comeback by Chippewa Hills. Laura Bouwkamp added nine points for the Tigers.
