The Reeths-Puffer girls basketball team closed out its season with a 51-39 win over Fruitport in an O-K Black Conference contest on Friday night.

The Rockets, who were 14-for-17 from the free throw line on the night, were led by Delaney Bolles with 14 points and 13 rebounds while Artrese Williams, Elysia Mattos and Brooke Larabee each added nine points apiece.

The Trojans were paced by Iyana Brown with a game-high 16 points along with 11 rebounds. Katie Veihl chipped in with 13 points for Fruitport.

O-K BLACK

JENISON 52, MUSKEGON 47 – The Big Reds put Jenison under heavy pressure with the full court press to cut the lead to five late in the game, but the Wildcats weathered the storm to hold on for the win. Muskegon (11-9, 8-4) was led by Diynasti Dowell and Tierra Williams with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

WESTERN MICHIGAN CHRISTIAN 63, ORCHARD VIEW 41 – WMC strong first half established a 37-22 lead at the break. The Warriors (11-9, 4-4) were paced by Aubrey Goorman with 19 points, while Cassie Kingma chipped in with 16 and Anna Sytsema added 10. Janaya Ferrel fought hard in the paint for the Cardinals (0-18), finishing the game with 13 points and nine rebounds.

CSAA

KENT CITY 70, HESPERIA 33 – The Eagles wrapped up a perfect conference record and the CSAA Silver crown on Friday night. Kent City finished the regular season 16-4, which included a 10-0 league record. Kaitlyn Geers scored 23 points to lead the Eagles, while Paige Mortensen added 11 and McKenna Carlson chipped in with nine. The Panthers (2-18) were led by Ami Tateyama with 21 points.

LAKEVIEW 34, HOLTON 26 – The Red Devils struggled shooting the ball all night and dropped their regular season finale against Lakeview. The game was tied 15-15 at halftime and Holton trailed 22-20 after three quarters before being outscored by a 12-6 margin in the final stanza. Shelbey Younts scored seven points to lead the Red Devils while Courtney Slater added five points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
